Plant Overview
Sambucus Lemony Lace
Sambucus racemosa 'Lemony Lace'
Sambucus 'Lemony Lace' is a deciduous shrub. Finely cut, brilliant chartreuse to golden-yellow foliage on an arching, graceful plant. White flower clusters contrast beautifully with the luminous foliage. Vigorous and adaptable in moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Cut back hard in late winter to maintain size and encourage the most vibrant foliage. A dramatic focal point for large borders. Flowers attract pollinators; berries attract birds and can be used for elderberry products.
