Astilbe Chin Pumila
Astilbe 'Chin Pumila' is a shade-tolerant herbaceous perennial. A dwarf, compact astilbe species with lavender-pink plumes in late summer — one of the latest-blooming astilbes. Creeping growth habit makes it excellent as a small-scale groundcover. Prefers moist, rich, well-drained soil in partial to full shade. Keep consistently moist — does not tolerate drought. Divide every 3–4 years to maintain vigor. A top choice for shaded borders, woodland gardens, and rain gardens where feathery plumes provide color and vertical interest through summer.
